Hi Ron,
If your car does not have A/C which I suspect it doesn't, it goes in the box under the dash. There should be a circular hole in the box below the blower motor with a small slot in it. There is also a round plug that covers the hole and holds the copper tube in.
Hope this helps,
Don Verity

Subject: [Chrysler300] Temperature Control Valve
Hello, everyone:
On a 64 Chrysler, where does the coiled copper tube on the temperature control
valve go, inside the heater box under the dash or in the box that's mounted to
the fire wall in the engine compartment? It's been a few years since I removed
it. Any help would be appreciated.
Best,
Ron Kurtz
