Hi Group, Just wanted to pass along a different procedure for bleeding air out of the Power Steering system that I received from LARES Corp. The basic idea is to lift the front wheels off the ground and turn the steering wheel while cranking the car. The car should not be started until the air is out of the system as this is hard on the steering gear valve. LARES suggested pulling the coil wire but with the car sitting a week or so I was good for three 3-5 second cranks. After each crank I refilled the PS pump. After the third crank the level was stable. The car started the next crank and there was none of the normal power steering noise that comes with air in the system.
