Side Note, this problem is NOT limited to the old carters, Its ALL in
the EPA mandated gas of today.

The 'hot-rod' frankentruck I have has the Webber redesigned Edelbrock
sold aftermarket performance AFB on it and it too suffers the fuel loss
condition if it sits for longer then several weeks of not being driven.
Which reminds me, I thins I need to get a replacement battery for it
this year, been nursing the old one now over 7 years and it wasn't that
new when I bought the truck. Need to buy one of Larry's electric pumps,
by the way I did price similar units locally, his $ seems right fair in
comparison.

Frankentruck is sort of a 'little red express wanna-be' but its white,
a 1980 big block motorvated D150 with a modified 1977 (or was that 1976)
400ci and BB torque flight, full length headers, other go fast stuff, a
2000 bed, 9-1/4 sure-grip, etc, looks sort of ratty but its solid
underneath, and it hauls a full load in the bed with hardly any notice
that its loaded.
Even took it to the Dayton Meet along with a grandson :-)
