Monroe doesn't make bolt-in front shocks for our cars and hasn't for at least the last 30 years. Monroe rears that bolt right in are readily available. Today's shocks tend to be gas charged with multi stage valving that I understand, in theory, would be an upgrade over the original designs. However, like most parts they are generic enough to fit a number of applications. For example, I have heard that the Gabriels are valved for smaller, lighter vehicles like a Valiant/Dart. They may fit but may not handle the weight of our cars too well. Evidently KYB it is the best we can do these days. I installed Monroe Load leveler shocks. There was no sway bar, that car cornered and held curves like no full size car should. Don't know if there are still available for our cars, Stanley 300K [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or go to http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Chrysler300/join and select the "Leave Group" button For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylangYahoo!
