My power steering finally quit after 50 years of service while we were in Monterey. Yesterday, I removed the steering gear unit and PS pump. I am looking at sending it to Steer and Gear in Ohio and am thinking about having them rebuild it with their Firm Feel level 1 option. Just looking at their site, it appears as though they raised their prices significantly, it's now $460 with core for the rebuild, last year it was about a $100 less. Before I commit to using them, I would appreciate hearing from anyone that has used them, and had the Firm Feel option done on their unit. Are you happy with it? Thanks!
