Was saddened to see in Motor Trend magazine of the passing of David E. He was the guest speaker at the Williamsburg meet and that was Sandy's first out of town meet. She remembers him adding extra color to the ghost stories of the town as only a truly gifted story-teller can. As we strolled along to somewhere, he told me he had been using the C300 I sold back to Chrysler. I asked him how he knew it had been mine and he replied, " Tim Flook wrote on the glovebox door......Larry, please don't drive this car over 130 (something)..Wasn't that your car? I had been a reader of Car and Driver since the "Boss Wagon" was a Fury III and then founding subscriber to "Automobile Magazine" until recently and under his watch, they were extremely readible. He had his critics, but I certainly wan't one of them.
