as the owner of a 61g alaskan white - i love the color  - imo, keep it the original color. you can't go wrong. i have several collector cars and i would never paint the car a non original color . but it is your  money - do what you want to do.

Hello Group. I brought my G a few months ago.It's off white and I'm
struggling with a color change decision. Red is what I'd love it to be. My
wife and friends say leave it white. Even strangers who stop to admire her
frown on a color change when asked. I'd like to ultimately show her and
white cars just do'nt seem to stand out like some of the others. I'd like to
stay true to the game,but white is... Has anyone ever seen a nice light
