Re: [Chrysler300] Radio Conversion

-- Hello Charlie- Just reading all the List Server-Emails and seen
your request--[ I'm a member of the Club--With a 1964 Chry 300 K -
Long Ram ] But a few years ago-I had a 1962 Chrysler Newport -9 Pass
station wagon-[ which was voted in the top 40[ by participants]--every
2nd year at Ontario Canada's [ MOPAR FEST]- ANYWAY --while restoring
it --I was always buying a lot of 62 wagon parts]--AND at the yearly
Chry Flea Market in North Detroit]--I bought a Brand New- N.O.S. 1962
Chrysler radio--and had the F.M. unit put in by one of Ontario's best
old car radio repair guy's--George Found ---in Kitchener Ontario[-- [
I Never got around to putting it in]-AND I Sold the wagon a few years
ago-[ SO it's sitting in my den]-- It works in that when you turn it
ON it's on AM ---then IF you turn it Off then On in 5 Seconds it is on
FM--[ I have thought of putting it in My 64 K--[ But I think the face
is different--[I think that most radio guys charge bout $400--to put
the FM unit in]--I got the Foot button Auto advance- unit with-the NOS
-Radio -[ I Had thought about putting it on Ebay--BUT- would consider
selling it--[ Snow is Finally melting--
