[Chrysler300] 300 C Convert at Mecum Auction

Information about  the  Chrysler 300 C Convert consigned to Mecum Auction in Indy.
 
The 300 C belongs to Larry Swedal from Elk River. MN.
 
Larry is a MAJOR Car guy.  ( His three kids are are Car Guys also)
Larry's wife and my wife are cousins.
Get to Larry's shop to check out the projects when we are in the area.
He started out doing Model A's about 50 years ago.
He retired from teaching auto body repair at a tech college about 3 years ago.
 
About 90% of the cars he does are GM Converts.
He did a 59 Dodge D 500 Custom Royal Convert for himself about 5 years ago.
 
Found the 300 C convert that had been stored in a neighbors garage for over 20 years.
This was an all there, complete car,  but needed a total restoration.
He did a total frame up restoration.  Finished in 2010.
Pictures of the car during restoration are on the 300 Club site....Owners cars under restoration.
 
One of the next cars in his restoration to do line is a 54 Buick Skylark Convert.
