Re: [Chrysler300] rear jet removal AFB



It's been quite some time since I've been inside an AFB, but if those jets are indeed threaded, but the slots are disfigured, I'm thinking one of those tapered, reverse threaded "easy out" screw extractor bits might do the trick.

Just a thought though, any one care to comment?

Why will the screwdriver not fit?  If it's a size 
issue (don't go there :-)) I would sacrifice a 
screwdriver and carefully grind one for an exact 
fit.  If the slots are already buggered beyond 
repair, drilling is the only way I 
know.  Possibly mounting the body upside down and 
working from the bottom would minimize where the chips go.
