Hi John - I didn't watch the auction, but I did note that the image on the B-J website showing the engine for the 56 Fireflite did only have a single 4bbl. What was theorized was that since the B-J folks needed photos of the cars a number of weeks in advance of the auction, that this was 'mocked up' since the dual quads weren't installed yet. When you saw the auction live, did the car still retain a single 4bbl or had they already installed the dual quads ? BTW, we are aware that the Adventurer engine was NOT available as an option on the Fireflite.
