Jean-Yves, Mr. Krausmann turned me onto the Flocking used in re-doing record player turn tables a few years back that works very well if you can not find it in a hobby shop let me know. A 1 pound bag of black flocking costs maybe $25 and will do 3-5 set of console boxes.(I'm all out but I still know where to find it!, as I'm sure does Jim) 1/2 pint of flat black paint plus a couple .29 cent brushes and a $3 dollar flour sifter and you're good to go. Applying the paint too thin is not where you wanna be here, the flock will suck it up! I used 4 pieces of 12" long 4"X4" as pedestals and a 4'X4' piece of card board for catching and re-cycle. Doing top or bottom halves at one time plus dry time is the tip. Read here: DO NOT TOUCH 'UM 'TIL THEIR DRY! THEN knock off the loose flock ON YOUR RE-CYCLE CARD BOARD, FOLD IT IN HALF LOOSELY, TIP IT UP AND LET IT FALL BACK INTO THE BAG IN CAME IN! Happy Holidays, Jerry
