[Chrysler300] 300C suspn part query, window felt ? & later a/c

1) what is current good price/supplier for set of 4 1957 300C upper suspension arm bushes?
2) on 1960 Chryslers, (Imperial particularly, but maybe same on 300Fs) how were the felts/strips - that go on the body/doors at their top to stop the glass rattling - fixed to the panels?
 (there are series of fairly large round holes alomg top lip of door and 1/4s, that look too large for countersunk screws, and they are not stapled like they seem they were to door cards etc?!)
3) Anyone ever had the misfortune to work on the dash of a 1968 Imperial with auto temp a/conditioning - what a s****!!! of a dash, even Factory Manual warns just to change dash globes, you must drop column etc etc!!????  How did Chrysler ever sell such a car - the a/c only works if put heater on first, then maybe not at all - is it the a/c control switch usually, as all the little vac switches work/seem fine - or can be it the time delay thingo - what usually stuffs up first apart from the disposition of the poor b***** asked to help a friend!!!
 
 
Christopher Australia - crazy weird weather continues, nothing on TV news about locusts, but it so cold and wet compared to usual, maybe they still waiting for better days?! Farmers look near certain to get grain downgraded as showers and real rain bugger harvesting across sE corner of nation.
