Hello my friends the F is almost ready to be picked up. In the meantime I am looking around to purchase the missing parts, expecially the ram parts In my possession there is a 300 J engine and trans, in apparent good shape. I am thinking about using this engine with 60 ram parts. Heads on the J engine should be better than F heads, having larger valves and better flow. Will everything work with the 60 F rams and exhaust? Whick trans is better? J trans has parking lever and is all aluminum, and is modified for performance. What woulfd you guys do? I also have toyed with the idea of a 68 440 with rams and everything correct, but don't like the idea too much. Suggestions? ideas? Will the J oil pan work with the F subframe or d I need the F oil pan?
