First, you can remove the cam by taking the radiator out and the front of the motor off. My experience was to first have recommended to me an Isky D888 cam as the way to go. Not so, the cam had a nice lope, but no vacuum for brakes. I contacted Nielson Vintage Cams, 644 West 100 North, Farmington, Utah 84025. Phone number is 801-451-7745 and had a cam built. It is a replica of the original cam and works great in my 300D. Make sure you also buy the correct solid lifters to go with the cam.
