Photo and image files can contain viruses and malware. JPEG and GIF particularly. And no -- it goes beyond Web sites that are infected. Web pages, attachments, e-mail messages, etc. can all carry viruses and malware.

  just websites with viruses built-in are the problem...i think.

  anyway, i use a mac computer and viruses go right over my head.

  i don't even have an anti-virus program in my computer.

  i call it...no PC / no problem / yahooooo
