I am putting my 300D back together and ran into an issue I hope someone might be able to shed some light on. The heater core hose outlet fitting (the one sticking straight out of the box in the center of the firewall) is very close to the rear carburetor's air cleaner housing....to the point it would have to be cut to get a hose over the end if the air cleaner were to sit parallel to the front one. I looked up the core part number and it appears all MoPar's utilized the same core and same heater core housing so they should be correct for a 300D. Does anyone know if the core and housing off a 57 are interchangable with a 58? The car was in pieces when I bought it and thought some parts may have gotten mixed in with 57 items. thank you all, Greg Weaver Cold Spring Harbor, NY ------------------------------------ To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: Chrysler300-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/Yahoo!
