Hello Everyone, Thanks to all who gave me the insight to handling the vibration damper issue. It is much appreciated and certainly amazes me the talent and knowledge that exists in our group. I want to get my unit re-built to retain the originality of my car. Dave Schwandt I want you to know that I always read the Chrysler 300 Club news and find it helpful and interesting. As an enthusiast not a mechanic, I had no idea what a "vibration damper" is, therefore never paid attention to it. It's a little like buying a Ford King Ranch Pick Up, you have no idea they existed when you went to the dealership to buy a truck. You learn about it, find out it is one of the largest ranches in the USA and that Ford has a tricked out, fully loaded, leather laden truck with the King Ranch label on it, so you drive that baby off the lot. Then your cruising home down the interstate only to see three of them! Never new they existed until you needed one or had one. Kinda like a "vibration damper"! Thanks again guys all the advice it is much appreciated.
