Hello 300'ly to all! Upon reading the June, 2010 issue of HEMMINGS CLASSIC CAR I was pleased to see that the editorial staff listed the 300L as one of their 32 Best Cars To Restore. Further on in the issue in their Rearview Mirror section discussing 1955 they have a nice write up regarding the significance of the newly released 1955 Chrysler 300! Unfortunately the car pictured is a B. The irony is that the article stated that there was no rearview mirror on the C-300 from the factory, but the B had a rearview mirror in the picture. But what can you say? The feature was the Rearview Mirror for the magazine. All the more reason to uphold our club's mission statement to restore, preserve, and promote the heritage of the Chrysler 300 Letter Cars and the 1970 Hurst. I am rather surprised that Hemmings didn't have a file photo for the correct Letter Car and the editorial staff didn't correct this before going to print.
