Perhaps it may have something to do with the factory they were built in? Over the years I've noticed quite a few little detail differences between '65 C-body cars built in Detroit and Newark. If all L's were built in Detroit maybe they didn't get the sticker, but other C-bodies that came through other factories did? My L was pretty much intact and preserved and didn't have the sticker. It was so well preserved that it still has a very nice 60's CAA sticker in the back window that's survived all these years. --- On Thu, 4/8/10, Mark Souders <MRS954@xxxxxxx> wrote: From: Mark Souders <MRS954@xxxxxxx> Subject: Re: [Chrysler300] Air Conditioned by Airtemp To: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Thursday, April 8, 2010, 7:25 AM Sorry Steve, but I have to add that my grandmother bought a new 1965 Polara sedan with AC and her car had the Airtemp sticker on the right rear door glass. I remember this because it was the first car in our family that had AC. I have two L's neither of hich has such a decal, but a friend of mine restoring a 65 300 convertible rought the question to me, so I asked the best experts in the world! It looks ike Chrysler took a "time out" on the decal for 1965. teve Albu ---- Kathy Rook <kmrook@arkansas. net> wrote: My all original one owner 1965 with air was bought from the dealer that this mechanic worked for.
