[Chrysler300] 300L 4-speed convert on ebay

I went to an auction in Ohio 2 years back specifically to bid on this car. I should say I assume it is this car cause it is identical but I do not recall the VIN on the auction car so I can't say 100%

Anyway, the reserve was $16,000 and I was really saddened by the poor condition of the car. I had seen it years earlier at Bill & Bev Spiers first meet in Ohio. In the interim, the car appearantly sat idle in a dark and damp barn. All the interior chrome was badly pitted and there was mold. There was body putty breaking off in one quarter. The bondo was for damage, not rust. The car didn't seem to have a rust problem. I left the auction before it even came up for bid. I had even taken an empty trailer with me cause if it had been in the condition I previously saw it in, I was not going home without it.  I don't know what the hammer price was.

The seats are of course NOT leather, they are standard vinyl. They were mold stained but possibly could clean up fine.

The previous owner was a club member and he told me George Riehl had rebuilt the engine and that George had "beefed it up a little" from stock.

The car is DEFINITELY  worth buying for the right price and definitely worth restoring , if anyone is interested !!!!
