Re: [Chrysler300] AfterMarket Wire Wheels

 To 300 Group

Good Web site Re: Chrysler wire wheels.

About 4 or 5 years ago, John Characky's son found "Roadster Wheels" at a swap meet in CA.
John and I had been investigating wire wheels for the "F" and "G".
Roadster Wheels would make them any size we wanted.

We ordered 15 wheels........ 15" X 7" wide, Stainless spokes and Nipples
plus the two bar center caps ( made in CA )

I used Diamond Back tires.... 235 X 15 R75, 2 1/2" White walls For my 300G.
Clearance is good front and back. ( Let some air out to install rear tires and wheels )

I have used the wheel / tire combo for three years. Look good, and drive great.

Great to be retired.

  Hi Group

The wife is "encouraging" me to add a set of wire wheels to our 300C. I had Dayton "bolt-thru" wire wheels on a 300C convert in the eighties and was very happy with them. I'm considering Dayton wheels again but would like some input as to whether there is another brand I should consider. I'm after a look that is close to original but I'm going to a 15 X 7 size. I do have a set of original 1956 wire wheels but am not really interested in having them rebuilt.

Thanks and Happy Holidays to All !!!

  Jeff Miklas
