RE: [Chrysler300] 2010 '300 Calender' idea

With car calendars, the most common type one available usually has the chosen car as most of the picture, with often not much background. Anyone who has taken many shots of their cars, other cars, will pretty soon find out why most photographers usually fill most of the shot with the car - namely first getting the car with the light just right so the grille, rear, whatever other wanted seen parts are not in shadow, are lit right re the sun/light, is often hard enough, but then also getting all the wanted background in the shot, and just the right wanted things in that background, without unwanted power poles, wrong ugly houses or whatever other things will spoil the shot, is even harder, way worse.

So that is why I suggested maybe getting together the best 300 shots 300 Members may already have of all the different 300 models from their most liked best angles, and then 'inserting' them into good/stunning backgrounds - using modern computer software that makes doing that just a few mmins work.

Keith's idea below of seeing if he can get us, the 300 Club, the Impala photography tips would be great, because even before any panorama type 300 Calendar thoughts - what 300 Member wouldn't maybe like to learn how to take better car/300 photos?! I still take shots I sometimes wish more/most were bit better.

My Movie Producer guy is a real computer wiz, does world class animation and cgi stuff, and so can maybe make us a Calendar template that could be used if wished - but as already said, having real good high resolution 300 shots will also be handy. From a personal view, I would love to see our 300s not just as real close 'car only shots', but rather as if they are being used, and we/someone just stepped back away from them and took a shot - say from back across the road over to a 300 at some great old 60s style gas station, maybe even with desert mountains in the background of the servo?! Or in front of some great old art deco building, or parked in front of an old massive 30s warehouse/factory, or on some old timber pier overlooking the bay or ocean?! Our 300s were made for driving, so to have shots like that would be great if we can't drive them as much as we like, or could in the old 'gas at 20c a gal days' ??!
