The 2 motors are all the same, (left and right) later years being better, but all interchangeable. This seems to be across all Mopar lines. the motors are embossed C P D DeS. Even in a '86 model. I'm guessing the Imperials are also the same. I've used mid-60's motors in a 86 Ramcharger. All seem to fit and work. So, if you need a motor, there are lots of them out there in the yards, in all models and many, many years. Note the Left front and the Right rear use the same motor and the Right front and Left rear use the same motor. 2 motors, for all applications. When going to remove them, use a 1" hole saw in a Battery drill on the inside metal panel of the door, over 2 of the 3 attachment bolts. That way you can remove the bolts and pull off the motor without taking the whole assy out of the door to access them. Note that they seem to be "Use them or lose them", but they can be repaired easily. Cleaning the commutator of corrosion fixes most of them. The actual lift assy would be different, I think, as Lindsey said, Ray On Oct 24, 2009, at 10:29 PM, Lindsey Fuller wrote: I have used the motor & the attached gears from up to '64 cars on my E & F. If you need the rest of the linkages, I don't think that would work as the 2dr rear windows swing up whereas the 4 dr would go straight up & down.
