As I recall, Jim Kramer has the ability to make or repair any cable. Also, I 
recall that John Hertog had contacted Kramer to make or re-do a 300F  hood 
release cable a long while back.

Jim Kramer is a VERY BUSY guy much like Gary Goers. He has an incredible and 
well known Max Wedge reproduction business and he does a lot of work 
himself. John Hertog contacted me about two weeks after he had spoken to 
Kramer and asked me if I could get Kramer to hustle a little. For Kramer to 
drop everything to make one cable was not something to be accomplished in 
two weeks. I recall John becoming frustrated and I think he gave up on the 
cable. You should call Kramer directly and ask if he would be interested in 
making the cable. Better yet, ask club members if any need the same cable 
and maybe ask Kramer if he be interested in making 10 cables.
