Just got back from the Barrett-Jackson...

To be fair, the D500 car was really just average. It got a good price for 
its condition, in my  opinion. The Sonoramic Plymouth convert was not really 
a "show car" either.

A lot of the Mopars looked fantastic  up on the stage under those lights 
but I believe many of our  members wouldn't have been that impressed upon 
close inspection of the cars offered.

On the other hand, the "Andy of Mayberry" '61 Ford "police car" that sold 
for $110,000.00 wasn't worth $5,000 in my opinion. If the buyer wasn't 
personally present at the auction, he is in for a coronary when he sees the 
car.
