RE: [Chrysler300] Parts and services for sale.

No offense Jim. Bob said it, what is this forum for, if not to learn where
and what my be available to us all. Not just because I sell parts, I find
good resources from other members posts as well. Bob has it right a second
time. I do not owe Obama any tax for the little I make getting a part to
your door. This is a labor of love and I ran out of love.

Thank you,

Sorry Jim, but I couldn't disagree more. Why in the world would we want
to
discourage members from sharing what they have to offer with the group?
Isn't that part of what this Club is all about? I'm not talking about
selling car insurance or the latest wax treatment, but not sharing
services
offered or parts to someone of like interest, who may very much be in need
of what you have to offer, is a vital part of what this forum provides. Is
this not the best place for people to speak up if they have something to
offer? Sure, it can be put on the website as well, but that has its
limitations. If a person takes the initiative to source hard to find items
and share them with members and make a little bit on the side to support
their hobby interest, why is that a bad thing? I for one encourage it.
Something tells me Doc isn't exactly going to retire on what he sells to
Club members. IMHO we need more folks helping with parts and service
offerings not less. Remember, Letter Cars were all produced in small
numbers, miniscule compared to most collector cars, and therefore present
a
small market to attract vendors. I say "Ask not what your Club can do for
you, but what you can do for your Club", especially when it comes to parts
and services. Restore them, show them, drive them, maintain them, love
them, while you can-because this freedom won't last forever.

Seems to be a lot of posts coming through the list serve lately
advertising
  parts and services for sale.
Is there another way this stuff can be advertised via the club newletter
or
  something like that?
I do not feel this forum should be used for personal gain especially from
a
  private business.
  Sorry Doc :)
I do however feel posting a wanted ad is perfectly acceptable.
  Just my thoughts,
  please be kind..
  Jim
