Hi Roland; Having just worked on my 66 300 Vert, I can tell you where to look. Every joint in the folding frame needs rust penetrant, Then oil them, there are many of these joints. Just use lots of towels so you don't get it on the top or seats. Mine would not budge after only 10 years or so of sitting outside! I used PB Blaster on all the joints and after several applications and several days, it now works. I have to help it start both ways but it was that way when I was using it as my daily driver. I need to do what you did with the motor, I guess. The problem was in the joints and they are now free, and it goes up and down with no problem, other than the first 6 inches of travel.
