Andy and All: PN 1739 920 is listed as the Universal Joint Body for ALL Chryslers 1957 thru 1965 according to the way I read my parts books----with one exception: the 1957 Windsor. Many other Chryslers, DeSotos, Plymouths, and Dodges also used it. So, if you get a replacement from a Chrysler, it should be the same as your "G". Good luck. (Especially in installing that boot!!) 300ly, Gil C. In a message dated 8/19/2009 2:43:59 A.M. This suggests later universal joint bodies may be different for different brands and models. The book also shows different universal joint dust cover packages for 300's and New Yorkers of that period. 1450448 is for Windsors, New Yorkers, some DeSotos and Plymouths. This indicates the boots for 300's may be different in '63. There is some indication the difference is in the diameter of the solid shaft portion at the front end of the driveshaft and the boot must fit this element precisely to hold grease. I hope someone with a later parts manual can get you the proper interchange list for your needed part(s). This is the front U-joint for basically any Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, or DeSoto, 1957-62 WITH V-8 engine and automatic trans. My '63 shop manual shows a ball and trunnion, so probably the same. Don't have anything on '64, but I'm thinking they went away from this style joint when they went away from the drum parking brake. There may be some other truck and oddball applications. Dave's right about the 1450 number for the boot. BTW, I am replacing the entire joint. I only asked about the housing or "body" because everything else seems to be available. If this subject is still going when I'm get home I'll be glad to do a little digging into the 'ol books and come up with an answer.
