[Chrysler300] Convertible top flluid

Hi folks,
 
I recall recently a thread about the correct system fluid for early  
Chrysler convertible top mechanisms but I cannot locate anything in the web  site. 
 Any one have any suggestions.  
 
I seem to recall some discussion about type A transmission fluid and  brake 
fluid.  If I had a choice I guess I would opt for the Type A,  what with 
brake fluid being such a good paint remover.  
 
Any help on this?  It is for my H convertible but I would also hope it  
applies to my L convert.
