[Chrysler300] On The Road Again

Once again a road weary correspondent has taken the time to shake loose a few electrons with a short note to all.

We left bright and early this morning (08:30) and ran the gauntlet of radar and speed traps to travel the highways of America to relocate ourselves to another Chrysler 300 Club meet. Not once did we get a 'welcome to our state, please leave a chunk of change with the traffik court clerk' But we saw a collection of folks that ran interference for us and perhaps for some others headed to the Meet.

Wensday is usually a slow day, and it seemed evident by the fact that that we didn't manage to chit chat with too many attending Club members until the horsepilltality room eventually opened some time after folks started to return to the host hotel after a early tour activity (someone mentioned that the hardy early arrivees were off to a beer tour.) It didn't help that we arrived at the hotel deep into the dinner hour. It was only an 11 hour drive for us.

I think we already have some international guests/members in attendance, I'll know more tomorrow. 


Unlike the Boothbay facility, there is plenty of parking space so the assembled 300 cars here so far are off a little from the front door, so I didn't go out and see if there was a collection of brave souls visiting outdoors in the cool cool of the nite. But there was a nice gathering of conversation clusters indoors.
