Just a quick note to everyone who contacted me with information concerning the removal and reconditioning of my drivers side electric window motor in my 1965 300L. In the end removal was straight forward but only after heeding advice from fellow members concerning the spring loaded counterbalance and its dangers. Also as it turned out i had the little engine completely rewired and the worm gear replaced for $125 Australian dollars. I greased her all up(including a vacuum of the door cavity, rust prevention spray, and all tracks either greased or silicone sprayed) and reinstalled for a perfect functioning window again. Cheers to all from Jeff in Australia. ------------------------------------ To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/Yahoo!
