[Chrysler300] Valiant Effort

OK, don't flame me.  Further research on my part indicates the 1960 Valiant
may have been otherwise unbranded as it was to be sold by both Plymouth and
Dodge dealers.  In 1961, the Dodge version had a separate brand and was
called a Dart.  So perhaps it is correct to call the 1960 a Chrysler
Valiant???  I'll remain silent to the webmaster on the subject.

My first new car was a red, 1961 Valiant 2-dr HT with a floor stick and the
225 engine.  It had a grille reminiscent of a Chrysler 300 (or a Studebaker
Lark???).  The Omaha and Council Bluffs dealers were unable or unwilling to
get me a Hyper Pack ram-induction intake manifold and 4-barrel carb for it
to make it into a poor man's 300.  I believe it had the word "Plymouth" on
it somewhere.  You remember Plymouths, don't you?  Chrysler Corp used to
make them.  You remember Chrysler Corp, don't you?  Used to be a pretty good
outfit.  I wish them luck and continuity.

Clicking on Home, then Links takes you to another page that has an email
address for the webmaster.  He snapped up a photo of our 300 and popped it
onto his website.  Pictures of a few more 300's would certainly improve the
quality of the site!  I'll inform the webmaster that the 1960 Valiant was a
Plymouth, not a Chrysler.
