Re: [Chrysler300] Replacing power pack

DON'T TOUCH THE BARE TERMINALS. There is energy stored in the capacitor, just looking for a path to ground.

It's a real bear to get to. It's located above the left kick panel, and above the parking brake pedal. It's held in place by two screws. The top screw is harder to remove because you can't see it, and with all those wires in the way, it's hard to get your tool up there. There is a red terminal that needs to be unplugged.

If the power pack is bad, your dash lights won't light, or they will come on for a few seconds, then fade to dark.

Best advice is to send it to Jeff Carter of J. C. Auto restorations. You'll have it back in less than two weeks.

Regards,

Mark
