[Chrysler300] '59 distributor colour

Finally cleaned off the distributor & find mine looks to be original paint in a "plum crazy" purple colour. My engine guy has not seen one in 30 yrs for this age chrysler but wondered if the 300 used this colour. Anyone know the correct colour for this distributor base? thks
