Re: [Chrysler300] rear end axle play & Shim Packs

Hi Ron,

I found these part number for the 3 different shims in my '63 Chrysler part book.
I am not sure how many years they used these exact parts.
As I understand it, the amount of end play desired will determine how many shims are used and I don't think every car would have the same number of shims.  Maybe someone can advise.

Regards,
Mark

Mark -

Is there a 'typical' shim pack used on the rear axles for 57-9 Mopars ?
Also, am I correct in assuming that these will fit 57-9 ?

Thanks,

Ron
