RE: [Chrysler300] New info on the 300L parts

Another option is to have your original peices replated yourself. I had my whole set, front and rear, done for about $100 CDN and they look amazing. There is a company close to me here in Vancouver that is well known for their quality work. In fact, they do a large amount of the plating for both reproductions and restored product you find on the market. The name is CV Vacuum Paters. Here is the link: http://www.cvvacuumplaters.com/

As for the dash and console trim with the engine turned look. It's difficult to find good original peices and I don't know of anyone sucessfully reproducing the pattern.

The original hubcaps can be seen on the club website, Don Warnaar's 300L. They were the saucer type with the turbine looking center, used on both 'sport' and 'L' models. New Yorkers, Newports, and Windsors all used the same cap with a different center section. The 1966 cap is the same with a more coned center or, in '66/'67 you could get the beautiful spinner caps as an option.

Jeff Miklas sent me an update on the 300L armrests. This is a copy of his comments.---------------------I want to let you know that the plastic armrests for 300L are readily available. More than one vendor usually has them at the MOPAR NATIONALS or at CHRYSLERS AT CARLISLE. These aren't reproductions - they are used that have been cleaned and re-chromed. New reproduction armrest pads are also readily available. The front armrests are usually $50.00 each but I've found them for $40.00 at the shows. Can't recall what I paid for the rears or for the pads but I think the pads are much less. I purchased two sets from:AUTO MEDIC SUPPLY866-441-7039sales@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:sales%40automedicsupply.com><mailto:sales@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:sales%40automedicsupply.com>>-------------------Thanks, Jeff, for the quick reply.
