RE: [Chrysler300] 57 heater control valve



I don't think mercury was in the tube as I've seen the tube break off at the
bellows and nothing came out.

Great description but think Mercury inside the tube.  Need something pretty
dense to be able to move the valve around.

They really do make a difference but lets face it ---how much will you drive
it while using the heater??

I still opt for the 10$ NAPA repair kit/replacement rubber seal.  Little
work and can't be done much more than once I expect since the tabs will soon
break but worth the try.
