[Chrysler300] 64 Chrysler trunk mat

Hi group,
Can somebody tell me about the trunk mat in the 64 300? Mine has what looks like a non-original gray molded carpet. It fits nice but looks old. I don't know if carpet is correct or if it should be a gray plaid vinyl mat. I'm also missing cardboard side panels. Is my car supposed to have them? This is not a letter car.
