The 40% increase in USD exchange rates since early October compared to all European currencies except the Euro and possibly the Swiss Franc, should be an excellent opportunity for those in the US willing to look abroad for their next set of wheels? My impression is that there always has been a flow of collector cars back and forth across the Atlantic, in later years you can expand that to include the Pacific as well with Asian enthusiasts coming strongly. Sell abroad when your currency is weak, buy back when the currency is strong looks to be the slogan. Those of you that have recognized the crash of the Icelandic currency this Fall, can understand why Norwegian dealers are flocking to Iceland to buy ?cheap? cars. Likely it is the tax-payers in all countries who will have to repay any gains others make in this at the end. Thanks for having the guts to confirm what many of us thought. Please put it behind you and continue on, carefully. I'm proud to have you in the club and proud of the measured responses of our local and distant members to the rants. It is true that foreign cash has bought many things, including the Chrysler Corporation. Cash talks and we Yanks sometimes undervalue our prized possessions until we see them slip away. I truly apologize for the stupid statements that I sent on the club server. I was upset and had been in the tea after one year of not drinking. I apologize for creating my mess, and I will accept all repercussions. I feel really awful. I was totally wrong and out of character. I couldn't afford the 300, and made good people upset. I apologize because that is not what this club is all about. I know I am a better person than the idiot I was last night. I ask your forgiveness . I will never abuse the 300 Club Privelege again.
