Good Evening, I am looking for any suggestions to speed the replacement of both motor mounts on my G. I will be doing this next week in Dallas in order to continue the drive to California. I will probably be tackling this on my own in a strange garage with tools located in unknown places. Just looking for pointers/reminders. I will see customers on Monday, then get the car Monday afternoon to begin the replacement. My goal is to hit the road Tuesday morning and hopefully making it through El Paso Tuesday night. I hope to arrive in Carlsbad, CA late Wed. afternoon. The car will then be stored in Oceanside, CA until the 25th when my dad and I will fly out for the Cruisin' for a Cure at the Orange County Fairgrounds. I'll post more details later. Hope some others will be there as well.
