Help! I'm in the midst, today, of assembling the SS trim around the windshield and about to bolt the two chrome, bullet end, pins into the header bow. The parts list show to rubber seals near where the pins bolt to the header bow (the exploded parts list view of the top does not show the pins!). It's been 30 years since I dismantled the car and do not know what these look like or where exactly they go. Do these fit onto the pin at it's base? Also the the holes in the SS top piece (and under it through the windshield top frame) are larger diameter then the pins! Is that rubber seal suppose to be installed under the the SS header strip to make a tighter fit of the pins or do the suppose to fit sloppy in the oversize hole (I wonder with a tight fit of the index pins, into their holes, the top header will not index the latches and or the header bow will jiggle/squeek with the twisting vibration of the car when on the road. Any help (or pictures) is appreciated Ken Wilson, San Jose 1962 300H ------------------------------------ To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/Yahoo!
