If its the owner, no need to tip. If its the driver that works or contracts for the (big) transport service, I've always tipped them $20 if its received safely without damage and the car has come a long distance. Don't know if its necessary but it makes me feel good and they really appreciate it. Maybe $10 for a parts car?? Someone suggested that I give the driver a healthy tip when he arrives, in addition to his fee ? Is that the general practice these days ?
