[Chrysler300] '59 300E and Imperial hemi question

Is it true that a hand full of very early '59's received a hemi engine
(the 392) left over from '58??  I had not heard of this and am trying to
sort out fact from fiction.  If this is true, is that also the case on
some early 300E's
