I would not try blowing the dent out.  I think you might deform the 
tank, and if the worst happened and the tank ruptured, a spark could 
be catastrophic.

If the dent has not made a crease, why not try pulling it?  Clean the 
area well and get a strong suction cup.  Possibly a glass carrying 
cup (I don't think that plunger in your bathroom will work).  Harbor 
Freight has the glass cups for a reasonable price.

Unless the bottom is really buckled, you should be able to pull the 
dent out to it's normal dimension.  even if there is a crease left 
from the dent, at least it will be flat.

If the part of the tank is not flat enough or smooth enough to use a 
suction cup, try one or two of the hot glue dent removers at the same 
time, depending on the size of the dent.  Again, the surface must be 
clean for the glue to adhere.
