Hello to all, Hope everyone is doing well. I have a 1966 chrysler 300 that when I bought it the needle on the speedometer would only go up to 47 mph and the odometer and trip do not work. The speedometer is very accurate up to 47 mph but it does not go any higher. The trip is able to reset by spinning the knob under the dash and works fine, but when it is driven the odometer and trip both do not move the slightest. I had the dashboard apart as I needed to install a new fuel gauge and ammeter and did not notice anything out of the ordinary. This is an auto on the floor car so it does not have the gear selector on it. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas what is going on and if there is a fix so that I do not need to pull it apart again? Any help would be appreciated.
