Rich and all, Hmmmmmm!?? Do you think our membership might SHRINK if we put all our valuable publications, data and vehicular information on our website to access for free?? If so, we loose to save a few dollars. Limited member access via password would be the only answer and that opens up another whole can of worms. I like my hard copy sent and I can store them logically. Downloading, printing them out, and stapling them is just another chore I wouldn't care to do. Just my 2 cents on a gloomy morn in CT. It seems any or all of our publications could be posted at our website where they could be researched, archived and used for many years. Membership fees perhaps discounted a little if a member opts out of snail mail. I'm no whiz at the electronic media stuff, but I would imagine that it would take quite a bit of space to include everything (pictures, etc.) in a single e-mail version, even a pdf. file, and I'm not sure whether everyone even has the Adobe software to open it. (although it is a free download). Pete Fitch Monmouth Beach, NJ In a message dated 3/31/2008 1:24:17 P.M. I was wondering how many members are on this list server, and whether or not the club could save an appreciable amount of postage expense by doing it via e-mail to the list server subscribers, if such a thing is possible. Maybe someone could raise this subject at the business meeting in May. **************Create a Home Theater Like the Pros. Watch the video on AOL Home.
