RE: [Chrysler300] speedo cable lubricant



Although it probably isn't the factory one, I have used molybdenum
disulphide based grease with success even on a worn cable as it is
anti-seize.  (The black stuff that gets on everything)  At least for
aluminium torqueflites, disconnect the cable at the speedo, pull out the
inner cable, clean off the old stuff off and feed the cable back in smearing
grease on as you go.  Stopped my needle bouncing around.  But cover up your
upholstery first!
