[Chrysler300] grill letter painting

David,

When I painted mine a number of years ago, I hand brushed it using a
hardware store variety pint can gloss white. The paint was similar to the
"One Shot" brand paints I've seen in auto paint supply stores for pin
striping use.

Anyway, I remember laying in many thin coats until the coverage looked just
right. It was easy because you could just wipe off the excess flush with
the top of the letter indentation. It has held up well, but on your
recently replated piece, you might want to scuff the chrome a bit in the
recesses to give the paint some tooth to stick to.

Subject: [Chrysler300] Lifters for 300G

Hi all,

Question from my motor rebuild guy: He uses Steel Power Johnson
lifters in 90% of his jobs and wanted me to post this to the club members
in re of any pros or cons regarding the matchup with the club provided cam.
Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated.
On a completely different note, have just recieved my rechromed grill for
my G and wanted to know of any tricks or advice on the reapplying of
the white chrysler letters across the front.
Thanks and really hoping spring comes early
out in new york with our fresh 10 inches of snow
and more on the way!
