Hi John, Funny you should mention these cars. I called about a year ago on them and the seller was reluctant to give out vins. I don't recall the exact pricing but remember them being fairly expensive and needing a total restoration. I do recall the seller being fairly well aware of the club..who knows, he might even be on the server.. I think they were both original white with tan interior. I am NOT saying the seller said this to me because I don't honestly remember BUT you could probably count on much rust given the fact that they are Northeastern cars. Happy motoring. I don't know if it is a club member, or if the club knows of these cars. Perhaps one of our CT members could inquire as to VIN numbers for our registry if they are currently unknown? If I wasn't a club member and didn't know of the Chrysler 300 club and was contacted by someone who was asking for my VIN numbers from my vehicles I'm not sure how cooperative I would be, but it's worth a try. Apparently it was a "barn find" in Long Beach, CA. I went to take a look at it, got the VIN (8043110771), and forwarded it to Gloria. I could not get a tracing as the car was wedged in between two other cars and I could get the door open just enough to see the VIN. I do not know who the local owner was. Gloria related to me that the VIN was a new find. When I later stopped in at the shop to get more info, the car was gone and the owner of the shop said it is now in The Netherlands. Does anyone have any information about who might have purchased the car in the Netherlands so Gloria can complete her archive on this car? If so, kindly e-mail the info to Gloria.
